Description

Hello dear interested party, first of all, it was not easy to gather the information about the weapon. All information is to the best of my knowledge and belief, but I cannot rule out errors on my part in the research. I am offering here a rare weapon, which is named Luger Repetierbüchse No.1 and was distributed by Kettner in the late 80s and early 90s. The system was developed by Hannes Kepplinger, who apparently entered into a cooperation with the Kettner distribution at that time, but the agreement on this collaboration did not last long, and thus the rifle was not manufactured under this name for very long. Today, the rifle is of course found slightly differently as the Kepplinger Jägerbüchse. About the weapon itself:58cm barrel lengthSafety with three positionsMagazine capacity five rounds - magazine removable French trigger (very sensitive)Swivel mount including Swarovski Habicht NOVA  6x42 reticle 1Sun cut on the chamberWalnut stockPlease note the three cosmetic flaws on the right side of the stock in the photos (photos are zoomed in) - apart from the flaws, the weapon is in great condition - most likely hardly fired. Information from Chat GBT:Known data* The rifle was developed in the 1980s and distributed by the hunting outfitter Kettner.  * The designer was Hannes Kepplinger from Kufstein, known for his later very successful fine and set triggers.  * It is a cylinder lock repeater with:   * three locking lugs,   * removable magazine (5 rounds),   * interchangeable barrel,   * side safety,   * Kepplinger set trigger.  * Production apparently only ran in relatively small quantities and was discontinued after a short time. Therefore, these weapons are rather rare today.  CaliberDelivered were among others:* .222 Rem.* .223 Rem.* .243 Win.* 6.5×64 Brenneke* .270 Win.* 7×64* .308 Win.* .30-06 Springfield* 8×64 S.  Regarding the designation “Luger No. 1”In assembly and weapon lists, a Luger Repetierbüchse or a Luger repeater appears as an independent model. However, the designation “No. 1” was not consistently used, which often leads to confusion with the Kepplinger/Kettner models. The “Luger Repetierbüchse Nr. 1” and the visible version is indeed the rare Kepplinger design that was distributed through Luger/Kettner.Collector's valueSince the Luger Nr. 1 is relatively rare and was developed by Kepplinger, its value is usually higher than that of unknown standard repeaters of the same era.If you have any questions, please ask. Private sale without guarantee or warranty. Price is negotiable.
