This is likely a camping knife or scout knife from Hubertus in Solingen from the Cold War era (produced approximately between 1970-'90), for which the concept was likely inspired by the combat knife of the Bundeswehr. It is probably not a military object per se. The shape and the diamond of the handle are apparently borrowed from the camping knife of the HJ.An interesting and little-known piece from the West-German 80's. The few pieces of information I have on this were provided by an experienced collector.Well suited to round out your own collection, for example. The sheath appears to be made of aluminum and seems to have once been adorned with a coat of arms. The snap button closure is made of synthetic leather. The blade seems solid and usable (which was also the case with the knife before), I suspect it is made of 440 steel. Unfortunately, it is not perfectly aligned with the handle, which seems to be due to a manufacturing defect.Condition:Evenly distributed, authentic signs of use, otherwise no defects. It is still reasonably sharp. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.Notes:Proof of age required (18+). Shipping insured via DHL for 6.20€ or within the EU for 14.50€.
