Developed according to the same quality standards, the MR308 stands for the highest demands on precision, reliability, and safety.The rifle operates as a direct gas pressure loader and uses – like the smaller MR223 – the proven and highly reliable G36 drive system from Heckler & Koch. This construction provides the MR308 with very clean and reliable function even under demanding conditions.The free-floating, cold-hammered and hard-chromed precision barrels ensure excellent shooting performance. The MR308 is suitable for both hunting use and sporting long gun disciplines and is appreciated by many shooters for its consistently high precision.The MR308 is available with barrel lengths of 13", 16.5" and 20", allowing the system to be flexibly adapted to various applications.The Slim-Line handguard with HKey interfaces sits securely on the extended barrel nut and prevents twisting or play of components under load. The length-adjustable Slim-Line stock with five locking positions allows for individual adjustment to the shooter and, together with the compact design, ensures very good handling.Like the MR223, the MR308 also features ambidextrous and symmetrically arranged controls, making the rifle easy to operate for both right- and left-handed shooters.
