The Black Mamba combines the features of the Scorpion .22lr sport pistol from Volquartsen with the push-button takedown functionality of the Ruger MK IV platform.It all starts with its LLV Competition Upper. Available in a 4.5" or 6" barrel length, it features a stainless steel barrel housed in an aluminum casing. This construction offers match-grade precision in a lightweight package.  Each Black Mamba comes with a threaded muzzle with an installed single-port comp.Volquartsen's competition bolt with DLC coating ensures smooth operation and function, whether it's a day at the range or a high-level competition.The Black Mamba series uses a Ruger MK IV 22/45 polymer frame that has been upgraded with the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit, providing a crisp, clean 2.25 lb trigger pull. The frame has also been equipped with the Volquartsen magazine release, which, in conjunction with the factory-supplied magazine bases, eliminates feeding issues.
