It was produced for a short time in the early 1980s.Anyone who owns or loves the B76 series must also like the MP3S. However, it was not a success for Benelli. The Benelli MP3S  was expensive (800 US dollars in the early 80s) and only suitable for precision shooting competitions. Additionally, it disappeared from the lineup, with less than 500 pistols produced. You will hardly find this extremely rare precision pistol in the gun shop around the corner or on the open market! Rare competition version of the BENELLI M76, normally in .32 S&W Long caliber, with a few hundred examples in 9 mm Para for foreign markets. The carefully crafted, shiny bluing is in excellent condition, and the barrel and slide are flawless. The pistol comes with a magazine that is originally limited to 5 rounds for competition purposes, as well as the original grip panels. Compared to the standard pistol, the MP3S features a 140 mm barrel with counterweight, a lighter single-action-only trigger, contoured wooden grip panels, an adjustable rear sight, and a refined bluing similar to Colt's Royal Blue. The recoil mechanism remained unchanged thanks to a delayed blowback system with inertia locking on the slide, allowing Benelli to equip the pistol with a fixed barrel, which brings undeniable advantages in terms of precision. This weapon is the ultimate evolution of the legendary Benelli B-76. This weapon is an astonishingly precise and technical masterpiece with its incredible recoil loader.In contrast to the B76, which has a DA/SA trigger, the MP3S is a precision pistol with a pure single-action trigger. The trigger is essentially disabled until the hammer is cocked.
