MARLIN MODEL 1893 SAFETY MODEL ALL ORIGINAL, 38/55 WINCHESTER

Not often found in the ANTIQUE serial number range, we are offering this MARLIN Model 1893 “SAFETY MODEL” chambered in 38/55 Winchester.   It  is not marked “SMOKELESS”.   As the numerous pictures show it is in fine all original condition, the receiver shows traces of smokey case colors while the barrel and magazine tube show much original blue with some patina.  All markings are clear and readable.  The wood is all original, never cut or sanded and no chips or cracks,  The screws are all excellent and look to be unturned.  There are no extra holes in the wood or metal.   The cartridges pictured are for display and are not included,   The action is smooth and tight with no lever droop.  The bore is dark but still shows good rifling.  It is being offered in AS IS condition.
