The arms dealer WH e.K. offers:STEEL-BORN PRECISION MADE IN GERMANY -KORTH- Professional .357 Magnum sport revolver, 4"Korth Waffen is a German manufacturer of handguns based in Lollar. The company was founded in 1954 by Willi Korth, who was an employee of the Mauser company during World War II. It has since become part of PTW KORTH Technologies GmbH. Initially, production began with gas revolvers, and later the manufacture of live firearms commenced. In 1982, Willi Korth stepped back from the management of the company and sold it. However, he remained loyal to the company for a short time as the production manager. Korth is owned by Armurerie Freylinger & Cie., Luxembourg, and expanded into the American market in 2001. The revolvers and pistols produced by the manufacturer Korth are mostly handmade. Only 30 percent of the processing is done by machines. Depending on the type and equipment, around 70 working hours are required for the handcrafting from the blanks. Due to the time-intensive handwork, the company produces only 120 to 150 firearms per year. Especially the revolvers made by Korth are among the most expensive firearms of their kind today. The target group of the company includes not only high dignitaries but also firearm enthusiasts and collectors. In some states, Korth models are awarded as state gifts!THE STEEL-BORN PRECISION MADE IN GERMANY in cal: .357 Magnum, Willi Korth Ratzeburg. One of the most expensive series revolvers one can own! Mirror-polished, ventilated barrel, length 151 mm (6"). Six-shot. Proofed in 1977. Micro sight. Target hammer. On the lock plate "Korth". Three-line company designation on the right side of the frame. Complete original Korth high-gloss bluing. Hammer and trigger polished white on the sides. Flawless, dark walnut grip panels with checkering. Korth produced only 7,141 revolvers between 1964 and 1981. Each revolver was handcrafted by one of five full-time gunsmiths and produced only about 120 revolvers per year, with each individual revolver encompassing about 70 working hours and 600 different manufacturing steps. Unlike the mass-produced revolvers of the time, Korth components were neither cast nor milled; rather, the individual parts were ground from steel forging pieces and individually hand-fitted. Between 1971 and 1973, 397 revolvers were manufactured in this configuration. The 26,000 series features several innovations over the original Korth design, including the encased ejector rod with a second cylinder lock and a new cylinder release lever at the rear right of the frame, replacing the exposed coil spring with an encased telescopic design inspired by the MP38 recoil spring. Willi Korth sold the company while the 33xxx series was being produced. However, the 34xxx and 35xxx series were still manufactured under his personal supervision and from parts produced in-house, as he remained employed in the company as managing director even after the sale!Absolute precision for sport or as a catch weapon for the hunter who indulges in something special!Manufacturer: Willi Korth Ratzeburg (PTW KORTH Technologies GmbH)Model: ProfessionalMatching numbersBarrel profile smooth and sharp-edgedCaliber: .357 MagnumBarrel: 4"6 cartridge cylinder capacity Smooth wooden grip panelsTrigger and hammer in stainless steel, groundOne of the most expensive series revolvers one can own!Valid proof, German '85Original proof marks presentVery, very good condition, little fired* Take the opportunity to view in the store.
