The set includes a caliber-specific seating die and a full resizing die, which resizes the case to the SAAMI standardized minimum dimensions. At the same time, the spent primer is ejected, and the case neck is expanded by an internal expander to allow for bullet seating. Additionally, the die body has holes that allow excess lubricant or air to escape. This prevents damage to the case material from hydraulic or pneumatic forming forces. These forces can arise from compressed air or lubricants. The included seating die features an interchangeable seating stem. This can be replaced with a seating stem adapted to a specific bullet shape. Both dies have a locking ring. Once the ideal setting is found, this setting can be fixed by tightening the set screw. This avoids the tedious need to readjust the dies before each use.
