CPSA Day Shotgun Course - Otte Shotgun School

Daily rate according to CPSA Protection setup, eye dominance, stance, hold, CPSA method shooting techniques, rental weapon if needed, 75 shots of shot, 75 clay targets, drinks/snacks  At the Otte shotgun school, methodically structured courses and workshops are offered according to the guidelines of the CSPA for young hunters, returnees, and interested parties in shooting sports at the company-owned shooting range in groups of max. 6 people.Since shooting with a shotgun is done intuitively at moving and flying targets, training shotgun shooting is also the most demanding task for the instructor. A professional shooting training therefore requires a perfect "setup" of the shooter and a meticulous adjustment of the shotgun even before shooting begins. Unlike shooting with aiming aids and scopes with firearms, e.g., .22 caliber weapons, sporting air rifles, and similar, the shotgun shooter ideally shoots with both eyes open. Meticulously, the weapon hold points, visual acquisition points, and reaction times of the individual shooters are determined. After each shot, each shooter receives their personal 3 R's: Result, Reason, Remedy: (Outcome, Justification, Improvement with Correction).In keeping with the motto of CPSA Instructor Dirk Otte: A successful shot begins long before the trigger is pulled.Since there are different basic techniques for shooting a flying target, e.g., Swing through, Maintained Lead, Pull away, these methods are presented, and their respective advantages and disadvantages are shown and explained.Especially beginners need absolutely suitable material and perfect theoretical preparation for successful shooting training.
