The company BTS was founded in 2018 in Munich, which is why BTS also stands for BAVARIAN Tactical Systems.The initial goal of the company was to offer AR15 spare parts at affordable prices.However, due to the visible success, a subsidiary was already established in Budapest, Hungary in 2019, where entire weapons are built from these spare parts and are also subjected to C.I.P. proofing.The manufacturing in Budapest consists exclusively of skilled personnel, such as former employees of FÉG (Hungarian state arms factory).For the weapons from BTS, components from US manufacturing (e.g., Faxon Firearms, DPMS, Windham, Colt, Bear Creek Arsenal) as well as from in-house production (housings made from 7075-T6 aluminum, small parts) are used. This allows us to offer good quality at a fair price. As a conversion system, we can offer calibers .223, 9mm, and .300.
