The FM 78 has a black blade to avoid telltale reflections in a survival situation in enemy territory. Additionally, the coating of the rust-resistant blade made of spring steel serves to protect against corrosion. The handle is made of high-quality and durable Glock polymer plastic. As a military multipurpose knife, it is also optimized for close combat, is well balanced, and therefore also suitable as a throwing knife. A safety sheath with a thumb clip allows for secure carrying and quick access to the knife. The knife is not stainless and should always be wiped dry and lightly oiled.
