Webley MARK IV, various British stamps

offered here is a British Army and police revolver from Webley, specifically the MK IV model in .38 S & W caliber. The well-known break-action revolver is, as usual, equipped with various proof and acceptance stamps. The weapon has a still quite nice bluing and no so-called war finish. The mechanics of the weapon are very good, the barrel and cylinder bores are mirror-like. With a barrel length of 3 inches, it was probably used in police or civilian service.
