Gabilondo and Urresti was founded in 1904 but only appeared in the industrial census of Eibar in 1907, where four gunsmiths were at work. Gabilondo and Urresti initially manufactured copies of Nagant revolvers in 7.62 mm Nagant and 8 mm Lebel caliber; as well as in the Colt New Service and Vélodog revolver style under their own brand.
