Bore Tech's patented cleaning rod guides feature a unique automatic patch guiding system that eliminates the hassle of winding and unwinding patches on cleaning rods.

Bore Tech cleaning rod guides prevent solvents from entering the rest of the system and guide the cleaning rod precisely, ensuring that the barrel of your firearm and the cleaning rod experience no damage.

The color-coded guides fit most bolt-action rifles from .17 to .416 caliber.

Simply place a patch over the opening of the angled patch plate, moisten the patch with cleaner if necessary, and slide your cleaning rod through the guide into the barrel. The angled patch plate, in conjunction with the correct patch size, effortlessly ensures a clean threading of the patch and proper guidance in the barrel. Additionally, the plate allows you to moisten your patch with the required minimum amount of cleaning solution in a clean and safe manner using just one hand.

Each Patch Guide is designed to align the cleaning rod precisely with the bore of the barrel and prevent damage to the firearm and the cleaning rod. This is achieved through the self-centering, tapered rubber nose cones at the front and the extended cleaning rod guide section at the back. Simply put, the Patch Guide is an essential tool for the professional cleaning and protection of your rifle.

Furthermore, the interchangeable and solvent-resistant conical rubber sleeves are soft enough to ensure a superior, long-lasting seal of the rest of the system. This prevents cleaning solutions from entering the chamber and bolt areas.

Designed to work with both standard and magnum systems, these cleaning rod guides feature a movable "bolt collar" that can be secured in place by a clamping "chamber rod" in the system. This keeps the cleaning rod guide in place and the seal to the barrel intact.

All cleaning rod guides feature high-precision, CNC-machined, and anodized aluminum components that ensure a long service life. Each guide is color-coded for easy caliber identification and fits the most popular centerfire Remington 700 style, bolt-action rifles from .17 to .416 caliber.

Bolt Diameter Requirements
The included bolt collar fits common bolt-action rifles with a bolt diameter of 0.695" - 0.700" (bridge passage). Most Remington, Winchester, Ruger, Browning, and Savage rifles have a bolt diameter of 0.695" - 0.700".

For systems with smaller or larger chamber rod/bolt diameters such as Weatherby, Sako, Kimber, CZ, etc., please round the bolt diameter to the nearest 0.001" and select the appropriate one in the BG/PG Custom Collar section. If in doubt, please contact our customer service.

Stock Requirements

Please ensure that for stocks with a high comb (higher than bolt center - bolt diameter), it can be lowered or removed.

Cleaning Rod Length Requirement
You need to add approximately 16.0" to the length of the barrel to define the correct length measurement of your cleaning rod. Make sure your cleaning rod is long enough.
