The high-quality entry-level model in the Zeiss thermal imaging range.
Thermal scopes are an essential part of hunting gear, helping to make hunting safer and more successful. The Zeiss DTI 1 is the ideal entry point into the world of Zeiss thermal imaging and the perfect choice for stalking hunts.
The Zeiss DTI 1 is a compact and lightweight thermal scope, featuring Transition zoom, which allows uninterrupted observation thanks to continuous zoom, as well as custom settings. The thermal scope is equipped with a new detection mode and four new color modes that significantly reduce screen glare, allowing heat sources to be clearly identified. The Zeiss DTI 1/19 has a field of view of 24 meters at 100 m and a range of 1,000 m.
The ZEISS DTI 1 offers outstanding added value for those looking for a lightweight and compact companion. It combines ease of use with a compact design and is agile, handy, and reliable at the same time. Its simple and intuitive operation makes it the ideal choice for observation enthusiasts eager to try new experiences.
The ZEISS DTI 1/19 combines outstanding optics, compact design, and numerous other features at an attractive price, making it perfect for basic users. Thanks to an expanded field of view of 24 meters at 100 meters, it offers excellent observation capabilities in wooded and dense vegetation areas.
ZEISS quality at an entry-level price
The ZEISS DTI 1 combines easy handling with low weight: simple and intuitive use makes the thermal scope the perfect base model in the world of thermal scopes, allowing you to enhance your nature experience for greater discoveries at night and during the day.
Ease of use
The optimised housing shape makes the grip ergonomic and the operation intuitive for both left- and right-handed users. The smart button layout and optimised shape benefit the intuitive control of the device.
Transition zoom
Especially when observing a flock of birds, it’s easy to lose sight of the animal when switching zoom levels. Watch your target with 4x magnification, continuously and without jerks: transition zoom lets you keep your eyes constantly on the bird you’re observing.
Three observation modes for every situation
Different environmental situations require different device settings. The DTI 1 has three pre-programmed observation modes: universal, detect, and fog. The detect mode, for example, highlights heat sources even more, reducing the cold background. This allows you to see animals behind trees and bushes better than before.
8 different color modes
ZEISS thermal scopes offer 8 color modes, so you can choose the setting that best suits your needs. “Black hot” and “white hot” deliver high-contrast images. When observing in areas with lush vegetation, “red hot” allows quick detection of heat sources. The “rainbow” mode is ideal for spotting the smallest temperature differences. Additionally, the four colour modes have been redesigned to reduce screen glare in dark environments and reduce eye strain. The “Red Hue” mode adjusts the eyes to darkness more easily. “Dark Hue” has a gentler effect on the eyes as it uses low-luminance colors. “Green Hue” shows a wide variety of details with low screen brightness, while “Night Eye” highlights the warmest areas of the thermal image in a pleasant sepia tone.
High Frame Rate
ZEISS DTI thermal scopes have a frame rate of 50 Hz.
Refers to the number of times per second the monitor refreshes the screen. A higher frequency results in less flicker of the image, reducing eye strain when hunting for several hours at a time.
Picture-in-Picture (PiP)
The Picture-in-Picture function of the ZEISS DTI allows the zoomed image to be overlaid on the visual image. This function helps keep the animal in view in zoom mode, even if it makes sudden movements.
Hot Tracking
In “Hot Tracking” mode, the hottest source is framed by a red square. Detecting heat sources in areas covered with vegetation is easier.
Customizable Settings
Wildlife observation can be a very individual activity. When it comes to optical sights, every observer has their personal preferences. For this reason, the new DTI offers the option to select exactly which color modes are active and which are not: just click on the ones you want to use. The same applies to the zoom level setting. Now there is the possibility to limit the maximum zoom level as desired.
