At first glance, it looks like just another rifle scope, but it’s what’s inside that has driven the most demanding hunters to use the Eliminator series scopes for nearly 20 years. Range measurement: with the simple press of a button, the Eliminator 6 provides an immediate and precise distance measurement up to 1800+ meters on reflective targets and 1300+ meters on non-reflective surfaces. Just place the reticle on the target, press the range measurement button, and the distance in yards or meters is displayed on the top display inside the scope, while the precise aiming point for the measured distance lights up simultaneously.

Environmental monitoring: weather and terrain play an important role in ballistics. The Eliminator 6 is equipped with an integrated thermometer, barometer, and inclinometer and automatically measures altitude based on atmospheric pressure (which can also be manually selected). With this, the Eliminator 6 selects the optimal ballistic solution based on the cartridge previously stored via the Burris Connect app.

Ballistic compensation: the ballistic solutions of the Eliminator 6 are based on the BurrisConnect mobile app and loaded onto the scope. Bluetooth connectivity between the scope and the user’s mobile device allows the hunter to create an internal DOPE card in the Eliminator 6 that combines distance, environmental, and ballistic data to achieve the perfect shot. Users can create profiles using factory cartridge data found in the app’s database or by entering ballistic data for reloaded cartridges, covering everything from muzzleloaders, pistols, to hunting and target rifles.

Precise aiming solutions: the digital DOPE card works with the illuminated X177 reticle of the scope to display the precise aiming point for the measured distance. Combined with the reticle’s windage hold points, the Eliminator 6 offers a total of 177 aiming points with 1/5 MOA accuracy to ensure reliable point of aim/point of impact performance.

Complete user interface: the Eliminator 6 features up to 10 data points in the head-up display. This information is divided into zones that can be toggled on or off according to the shooter’s preferences via the Burris Connect app. The shooting distance and wind intensity value can also be swapped based on user preference.

ShotCall indicator: available for display in the HUD is the bullet velocity and bullet energy at the shooting distance. Embodying the “Hunt Responsibly” ethic, these features allow the hunter to recognise when the shooting distance might be exaggerated and the velocity/energy too low to ensure an ethical kill. In addition to showing the calculated bullet velocity and energy at the shooting distance, the optic also offers a ShotCall indicator. The SCM will display an “X” if the user-defined terminal ballistic performance is inadequate for the shooting distance.

While the digital technology and capabilities of the Eliminator 6 set the new standard in the hunting scope segment, the optical performance is equally impressive. To maximise light transmission and minimise chromatic aberrations, Burris engineers selected extra-low dispersion (ED) glass. The ED glass combined with multi-coated lenses offers an extraordinarily bright, sharp, and clear view even in low light conditions, so you can easily see your target in the early morning hours, late evening, and in the worst weather conditions. Other optical features include 5X zoom with 4-20X magnification, a diopter adjustment range from +2.0 to -3.0, and a parallax adjustment from 30 meters to infinity.
