MF stands for Medium Folder. This line of knives fits between the Basic Folders series and the Heavy Folders series. The typical mechanism of the series is the LINER-LOCK. The overall structure is robust. All knives in the MF series have a rear glass breaker. They also feature the innovation of the adjustment screw on the blade pivot. By removing the adjustment screw, you can tighten or loosen the central pivot as you wish to achieve the desired opening smoothness. Simply re-lock the pivot screw with the adjustment screw to fix the setting. The semi-spherical milling on the scales facilitates the grip change from “saber grip” to “reverse grip.” The clip is reversible. The BC (Belt Cutter) version features a rear seatbelt cutter with an easily available and replaceable industrial utility blade. Additionally, inside the scale is a flathead screwdriver that allows adjustment and calibration of firearm optics. Available in MF1 BLACK, MF1 BLACK RUVIDO, MF1 DESERT WARFARE, MF1 BC BLACK, MF1 BC BLACK RUVIDO, MF1 BC DESERT WARFARE ON ORDER versions.

Extrema Ratio specialises in the development and production of professional knives for Military, Public Security, and rescue use.
The production level is mid/high range, and the company’s philosophy, which its brand represents, is to produce technical equipment of excellent functional value, long operational life, consistent serial quality at reasonable costs for public administrations and institutional clients. In other words, a top-tier product at competitive prices.
Production is characterised by industrial processes and artisanal finishes, a feature that gives the company a strong identity: only processes that guarantee uniformity, high production capacity, and economies of scale are automated and industrialised; processes that ensure reliability and high overall quality of individual pieces within the series, such as inspections, remain artisanal, as well as operations that inherently derive their functional characteristics from the operator’s manual skill, such as flat sharpening, which are all carried out exclusively by hand.
Thanks to interaction with the Armed Forces, first Italian and then international, the company has accumulated and continues to accumulate a valuable wealth of experience and information that allows it to develop truly qualified and professional blades.
