Extrema Ratio specialises in the development and production of professional knives for Military, Public Security, and rescue use.

The production level is positioned in the mid/high range, the company philosophy, which its brand represents, is to produce technical equipment of excellent functional value, long operational life, consistent serial quality at reasonable costs for public administrations and institutional clients. In other words, a top-tier product at competitive prices.

Production is characterised by industrial processes and artisanal finishes, a feature that gives the company a strong identity: only the processes that guarantee uniformity, high production capacity, and economies of scale are automated and industrialised; the processes that, like inspections, guarantee the reliability and high overall quality of individual pieces within the series remain artisanal, as well as operations that, by their intrinsic nature, derive their functional characteristics from the operator’s manual skill, such as flat sharpening, which are all carried out exclusively by hand.

Thanks to interaction with the Armed Forces, first Italian, then also international, the company has accumulated and continues to accumulate a valuable wealth of experience and information that allows it to proceed with the development of truly qualified and professional blades.
