Bullets for Reloading – HORNADY – 30 Cal .308 212 gr ELD-X® (100 pcs)

The ELD-X® (Extremely Low Drag – eXpanding) bullet is a technologically advanced, precise hunting bullet for match use, featuring higher ballistic coefficients in its class and consistent, controlled expansion at ALL practical hunting distances.

Product Features

THE BEST BC IN THE CLASS

Verified by Doppler radar, the Heat Shield® tip is immune to aerodynamic heating effects and maintains its shape to keep the highest BC in its class throughout its trajectory.

MATCH-ACCURATE HUNTING BULLET

Aerodynamic secant ogive with optimal boat tail design + highly concentric AMP® bullet jackets + Heat Shield® tip combine for radically superior aerodynamic efficiency.

ELD-X bullets are available with factory-loaded Precision Hunter ammunition.

DEVASTATING PERFORMANCE AT CONVENTIONAL RANGE

With high-velocity impact from 0 to 400 yards, the bullet continuously expands throughout its penetration path. The thick jacket shank and high InterLock® ring hold the core and jacket together, providing 50-60% weight retention.

THE BEST EXTENDED RANGE TERMINAL PERFORMANCE AVAILABLE

At low-velocity impacts beyond 400 yards, the Heat Shield® tip pushes back into the bullet to initiate expansion. Featuring conventional expansion with a large mushroom and 85-90% weight retention, the bullet delivers deep penetration and large wound cavities.
