SEMI-AUTO RIFLE – HATSAN – ESCORT-PS EXT SLUG 12/76 20″

Dedicated to wild boar hunting, with a barrel equipped with rear sight and front sight, synthetic stock with grippy Overmodel inserts.

This is a gas-operated semi-automatic smoothbore shotgun, specifically designed and configured for wild boar hunting and shooting with single slug ammunition.

Here are the main features of this version:

Technical Features

Caliber: 12 (with 76 mm / 3″ Magnum chamber). It works reliably with both standard 70 mm cartridges and Magnum loads.

Barrel: 51 cm (20″) length, Slug type (cylindrical, no choke, optimized for maximum accuracy with solid slugs).

Sight System: Unlike generic hunting barrels with a rib, this version mounts high-visibility metal sights composed of an adjustable rear sight and front sight, ideal for quick target acquisition in the woods.

Stock: Made of super durable black synthetic polymer, equipped with grippy Overmodel inserts on the pistol grip and fore-end to ensure a firm hold even in rain or mud.

Strengths

Smart Valve Gas System: Automatically adjusts the exhaust gas pressure. Allows shooting in sequence cartridges with very different weights (from lightest to heaviest) significantly reducing perceived recoil.

Dedicated to Wild Boar Hunting: The short 51 cm barrel makes it extremely agile, lightweight, and easy to handle in dense brush.

Quality/Price Ratio: The Hatsan Escort range is historically known in the Italian market as one of the most robust, reliable, and affordable options for those looking for a no-frills “drive hunt” firearm.
