Over-and-under shotgun – Chapuis Armes – S12 EJECT cal. 8×57 JRS

The Chapuis Armes S12 (also known as the carbine Express Super Orion S12) is available in two main versions regarding the ejection of spent cases: with manual extractors or with automatic ejectors.

The Chapuis S12 Ejector express rifle in caliber 8×57 JRS is a reference hunting firearm, combining elegance and precision. It stands out for its floating barrels and adjustable convergence system, which offer excellent ballistic results.

Main features:

Caliber: 8×57 JRS (ideal for short and medium range shooting thanks to its stopping power).

Extractors/Ejectors: This model incorporates an automatic ejection system for quick reloading.

Barrels: designed to be floating, not welded together, which eliminates shooting deviations caused by thermal expansion.

Convergence: Invisible adjustment of barrel convergence, ensuring a very tight shot pattern.

Action: round bolt, mottled or matte black depending on the finish, a classic distinctive element of Chapuis firearms.

Weight: Generally around 3kg, making it very manageable and responsive when shouldered.

Wood: stock with pistol grip in selected walnut (often grade 2) and hand-cut checkering.

Models with ejectors (Eject): Automatically eject only the fired case when the firearm is opened, while the unfired round is simply lifted to facilitate manual removal.

Models with extractors: Lift both cases (or cartridges) a few millimeters when the firearm is opened, then requiring the user to remove them manually. Models with ejectors ensure faster reloading, ideal for driven hunting.
