Instruction manual

The 9×18 Police (or Ultra) caliber, specific to the PP Super, represents a historical and technical curiosity. It was developed by Walther in the 1970s to offer a middle ground between the 9×17 (.380 ACP) and the 9×19 Parabellum, aiming to combine greater power than the former with the possibility of using a blowback system, simpler and more compact, typical of PP pistols. Despite its qualities, the 9×18 Ultra caliber did not achieve widespread international success, making firearms chambered for it, like the Walther PP Super, even more unique and sought-after collector’s pieces today.
