The GECO Plus offers extremely precise, state-of-the-art bullet technology. GECO-Bonding technology means a very strong bond between the core and the bullet jacket. The GECO Plus therefore deforms almost without fragmentation and effectively takes down large game, impacting bone parts. The very strong bond between core and jacket also ensures almost no residue remains in the meat. The bullet’s effective expansion is achieved through programmed breaking points, visible on the outside of the jacket.
The .308 Win. was introduced to the market in 1952 as a hunting and shooting cartridge. Its strength lies in its great versatility and very gentle shooting characteristics, making it suitable for virtually all types of European ungulates.
GECO offers the .308 Win. caliber with GECO Express, GECO Teilmantel, GECO ZERO (lead-free), GECO Plus, GECO Target FMJ, GECO Sport bullets.
