From an aesthetic point of view, the 303 looks very much like the 202, the bolt-action flagship of the German company. The only difference is the forearm, which on the 303 has a refined tulip-shaped end. Everything else is really similar, if not identical, which is a good thing, considering the S202 is regarded as one of the most beautiful factory rifled firearms on the market. The stock is made of good quality walnut wood (also borrowed from the 202) with nice grain even on the standard model. The buttplate is thick and quite soft, as is fitting for a firearm chambered in powerful calibers.
