The secure 45-A connection between starter battery and super fast charger
This 5-m car charging cable connects a suitable 12/24-V vehicle battery with the DJI Power 1.8-kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger. Fuse box, 60-A fuse and mounting screws are already included in the set.

No standalone charger
This product is exclusively the vehicle connection set. The separate DJI Power 1.8-kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger is required for operation.


What the cable does in the system


Direct battery connection
Ring terminals provide the fixed connection to the vehicle battery; the other cable end connects to the intended vehicle/solar connection of the 1.8-kW charger.


Fused power path
The included fuse box and 60-A fuse protect the high-current path. However, they do not replace professional cable routing and installation.


Installation range
With 5 m cable length, the charging controller can be sensibly positioned between the battery and energy system in many vehicle and motorhome layouts.

Indirectly powered DJI Power systems
The charger works with Power 2000, Power 1000 V2, and Power 1000. For Power 1000, an Expansion Battery 2000 is additionally required for 1,800 W total charging power.




Installation procedure for professionals


Plan system Define cable length, cross-section, fuse position, chafing points, heat sources, and mounting points in advance.


Lay cable first Mechanically secure the cable and protect it against sharp edges before electrically connecting battery and fuse.


Connect with fuse Fuse box mounted close to the power source and according to DJI specifications; consistently check polarity.


Check and test Check all screw connections, fix cables, and initially operate the system under observation.




Installation at the vehicle battery
Working on high-current circuits can cause short circuits, fire, device damage, and injuries. Installation should be carried out by a qualified professional according to DJI instructions and vehicle manufacturer specifications. Disconnect the battery before work and secure against reconnection.


Important limits and safety notes

The vehicle charging terminals of the 1.8-kW charger must not exceed 45 V input voltage according to DJI.
Hybrid and electric vehicles are currently not compatible with the 1.8-kW charger due to their generator/board network logic according to DJI.
Do not route cables loosely through the interior and do not lay them on moving, hot, or sharp-edged components.
All ring terminals, fuse holders, and device terminals must be tight and corrosion-free.
The 1.8-kW charger itself is not water- or dustproof; protect the installation location accordingly.
After the first load drive, check all connections for heating and firm seating.

Is the charger included? No. This offer includes the 45-A vehicle cable with fuse accessories. The 1.8-kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger is required separately. Can I connect the cable directly to a DJI Power 1000? No. The cable connects the vehicle battery to the 1.8-kW charger; this is then connected to the DJI Power system. How long is the cable? The official cable length is 5 m. Is a fuse included? Yes. DJI supplies a fuse box and a 60-A fuse. Does the set work in 12-V and 24-V vehicles? The associated 1.8-kW charger is designed for suitable 12-/24-V vehicle systems; a maximum of 45 V may be present at its vehicle charging terminals. Can I use it in an electric car? DJI currently excludes hybrid and fully electric vehicles for the 1.8-kW charger. The accessory is intended for suitable conventional vehicle systems. Do I always achieve 1,800 W with it? No. The 1,800 W is generated by the 1.8-kW charger as combined system power from solar and vehicle. According to DJI, the vehicle path continuously delivers up to 600 W; for Power 1000, an Expansion Battery 2000 is additionally required for 1,800 W.
