The Heck-Pack Dressing Gallows Diana with quick release is designed to dress game directly hanging in the field. Hung head down, the valuable parts of the game meat remain protected from contamination. Lying on the ground, this is hardly possible cleanly, especially with soft hits or heavy pieces. As a complete set with quick release, the Diana works entirely without a rear carrier and hooks onto the trailer hitch. It can also be retrofitted to a rear carrier or inserted into a permanently concrete-mounted holder at the home dressing station. The three-part gallows can be assembled without tools and is set up in under a minute, with disassembly just as fast. The weight of the game rests on a support on the ground, not on the trailer hitch. On soft ground, the tube penetrates the ground up to a stop, additionally stiffening the structure against twisting. The gallows is made of hot-dip galvanized ST37 steel from Thyssen-Krupp, reinforced with a second, larger tube at the most stressed points.
