A modern, practical combination gun with single lock, manual cocking and exposed rifled barrel – that’s the concept of the Merkel B4 combination gun in the Jagd version. The single lock manual cocking system ensures the B4 is safely and securely handled.
The top-mounted trigger rods and safety catch rods as well as the automatic decocking when opening the bolt provide additional safety.
The classic combination with the proven 12 gauge shotgun caliber is for good reason the most common "combination gun". The steel shot-proof shotgun barrel combined with the free-floating rifled barrel and the highly durable hunter’s tilting block action is the universal solution for the hunting ground without firearm compromises.
The 55 cm long adjustable barrel assembly consists of a shotgun barrel and a free-floating rifled barrel for high precision and good warm shot behavior. It is standard prepared for the Suhl tilting mount. For precise rifle shots, the front trigger has a fine trigger (without set trigger). The stock with pistol grip, Bavarian cheekpiece and pistol grip is finished with a rubber butt pad.
