Vortex Crossfire II Red Dot 2 MOA Solar TAN – Reflex Sight with Solar Boost
The Vortex Crossfire® II Red Dot 2 MOA Solar TAN (FDE) combines extremely fast target acquisition with state-of-the-art solar technology.
With its durable matte tan finish, it fits perfectly with FDE setups and prevents distracting reflections in the field.
It operates at 1x with no parallax and unlimited eye relief:
Keep both eyes open for maximum awareness, from close range to precise shots at a distance.
Thanks to the innovative Solar Auto D-TEC system and automatic motion activation, this sight extends battery life to an incredible 150,000 hours.
Solar Auto D-TEC & Intelligent Power Supply
Up to 150,000 hours of runtime: The integrated solar panel automatically detects ambient light and draws power from the sun or the CR2032 battery—whichever works best at the time.
Motion Activation & Auto-Shutoff: Movement instantly wakes the red dot. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the automatic shutoff kicks in to conserve power.
12 brightness settings: 10 daylight settings ensure a clear dot even in bright sunlight. 2 night vision settings allow use with night vision devices
Magnifier compatible: For shots at longer distances, the sight pairs perfectly with a Vortex magnifier.
Field-Ready, Extremely Durable & Versatile
The housing is nitrogen-purged, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof.
The lenses feature a scratch-resistant ArmorTek® coating that repels oil, dirt, and water.
Thanks to the standardized Micro® T-2 footprint, the red dot fits common aftermarket mounts.
Two compatible mounts (Lower-1/3 Co-Witness and Low) for Picatinny and Weaver® rails are included.

Information on disposing of used batteries
The following information is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were supplied to them (end users):
1. Free take-back of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. They
are legally required to return used batteries to ensure they are disposed of properly. You can return used batteries to a municipal collection point or to a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also required to accept used batteries, although our take-back obligation is limited to used batteries of the type we currently sell or have sold as new batteries. You can therefore either return used batteries of the type described above to us with sufficient postage or drop them off free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the legal notice.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out trash can (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Batteries containing more than 0.0005% mercury by mass, more than 0.002% cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004% lead by mass are marked below the trash can symbol with the chemical symbol of the pollutant used: "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.
3. Vehicle batteries
The following special rules apply to the sale of vehicle batteries (batteries intended for vehicle starters, lighting, or ignition): Under Section 10 of the German Battery Act (BattG), the seller must charge end users a deposit of 7.50 euros, including VAT, for each vehicle battery if the end user does not return a used vehicle battery to the seller when purchasing a new vehicle battery. The customer receives a deposit voucher when purchasing a vehicle battery. The customer can return the old vehicle battery to the seller to receive a refund of the deposit charged. Due to hazardous goods regulations, the old vehicle battery cannot be shipped to the seller. Alternatively, the customer can return the old vehicle battery to a collection point set up by the public waste disposal authority. If the used vehicle battery is not returned to the seller who charged the deposit, the authorized collection operator under Section 11(3) of the BattG who accepts the used vehicle battery must, at the end user's request, confirm in writing or electronically that it has been accepted without a deposit refund. In this case, the customer will receive a refund of the deposit charged from the seller, provided they submit written or electronic proof of return under Section 10(1), sentence 4 of the BattG that is no more than two weeks old at the time of submission.
