Norma Whitetail 3.56g - 55gr .223Rem

The Norma Whitetail .223 Rem. combines a flat trajectory with controlled bullet performance.
The Norma Whitetail in caliber .223 Rem. is a hunting rifle cartridge with a classic SP soft point bullet. The 3.56 g bullet is designed for controlled expansion and is suitable for hunting applications where reliable bullet performance is required.

With a muzzle velocity of 980 m/s and a muzzle energy of 1,729 joules, the load offers a flat trajectory. The manufacturer’s specified optimal zero distance or MRD is 175 m. The ballistic values refer to a barrel length of 610 mm and may vary with different barrel lengths.

The Whitetail series relies on a solidly manufactured case and a proven soft point bullet. This makes the cartridge suitable for hunting use as well as for zeroing and control shooting with a suitable rifle. Before hunting use, the load should be zeroed to the respective firearm and the point of impact checked.
