BROWNELLS M‑PRO 7 · AR Cleaning Kit
Systematically clean AR platforms – instead of randomly mixing brushes and chemicals
The set bundles rod, brushes, patches, cleaner, and lubricating oil for AR‑15/M16 and AR‑308 applications and provides a clear process from loosening to preserving.
Complete start for regular AR maintenance

The advantage is the coordinated basic equipment: loosen residues, mechanically work the barrel and accessible system areas, check with patches, and selectively protect corrosion-prone surfaces. More pressure or more chemicals does not automatically improve the result.
Purchase check: does the product fit your use?
Check your specific AR caliber, the included brush sizes, and the thread of the attachments. The platform designation AR‑15/M16/AR‑308 does not mean that every special caliber is fully covered without an additional brush or guide.

Fits well
You’re looking for an organized basic kit for regular AR maintenance.
You want cleaner, oil, rod, and consumables as a combined set.
You check brush and patch size before use.

Fits less well
You already own high-quality, fully matching individual components.
You expect model-specific disassembly instructions.
Your AR uses a special caliber not covered by the included attachments.

Features with real practical effect

Coordinated workflow Cleaner, mechanical tools, patches, and lubricating oil support consecutive steps.

Platform focus The set targets AR‑15/M16/AR‑308; specific caliber compatibility still needs to be checked.

Targeted use of chemicals Cleaner dissolves residues, LPX protects selected surfaces – both dosed according to manufacturer instructions.

One case instead of loose parts Tools stay available together; used patches and worn
ne brushes must be replaced later.

Limits, disadvantages and avoiding bad purchases
The set does not replace manufacturer-specific disassembly or maintenance instructions. Brushes that are too large, wrong threads or unsuitable cleaning direction must not be compensated with force. Do not mix cleaning agents. In case of corrosion, barrel damage or malfunction, cleaning is no substitute for professional diagnosis.
