BROWNELLS AR .308 Lower Receiver Vise Block – Double-Sided, Delrin

The double-sided BROWNELLS vise block made of Delrin holds the lower receiver of compatible AR-.308 platforms during installation and maintenance work, without clamping the part directly in steel jaws. The two sides accommodate different receiver geometries.
Compatibility
Designed for ArmaLite AR-10, Bushmaster .308, DPMS LR-308, and Remington R-25. Not compatible with Rock River Arms. Before clamping, the lower must sit fully on the intended side without force.

You want to hold a compatible AR-.308 lower securely for trigger, grip, stock, or general bench work.
Not a good fit if …
Your receiver follows a different .308 platform or only fits the block under pressure. “AR-10” and “LR-308” do not have fully standardized dimensions.
Practical effect and limitation
Delrin distributes clamping force and protects surfaces better than direct metal contact. However, the block is not designed for extreme torque; keep loads appropriate for the workpiece and controlled.
Safe use
Completely unload the firearm, remove the magazine, and separate the upper from the lower. Choose the correct side of the block, place the receiver on it without tension, and close the vise only enough to prevent movement. Stop if you encounter resistance and check the platform again.
