Blaser R8 Ultimate Monza Silence Complete Package incl. Optics

The Blaser R8 Ultimate Monza Silence Bolt-Action Rifle with Integral Suppressor as an absolutely affordable complete package with a scope of your choiceThe gunsmiths at Blaser named this special model of the R8 Ultimate Silence – as already with the Silverstone – after a famous racetrack: the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. The fast follow-up shot thanks to the straight-pull, precision and reliability of the rifle, and the sporty-elegant design justify the choice of this namesake. In this version, the R8 Ultimate Monza Silence is intended for use with the calibers .308Win, .30-06Spring, and 8.5x55JS. The barrel has an integrated suppressor, which surely your dog will appreciate as well. And with this complete package, you also get a scope from one of the major optics brands along with the original Blaser mounting rail.

The Stock
The black synthetic thumbhole stock with its red sewn leather inlays and the R8 logo in the same color is an eye-catcher. But the stock is not only beautiful, it is also tactile and ergonomically comfortable. The pistol grip with the grip hole keeps the shooting hand always relaxed. The leather stock comb is height-adjustable to allow an even more individual fit to the physique of shooters. The stock pad noticeably compensates the perceived recoil.

The System
The cocking system of the R8 Ultimate Monza guarantees the highest safety by relaxing the firing spring. The cocking only occurs immediately before the shot by pushing forward the cocking slider. The quickly reloadable straight-pull bolt-action system is made of duralumin and anodized matte black. The direct trigger of the R8 Ultimate Monza rifle is dry and ensures precise shot release without pulling off target. The trigger, bolt handle ball, and chamber are coated with extremely hard DLC (Diamond Like Carbon). This reduces friction loss to a minimum.

The Barrel with Integrated Suppressor
The mass of the barrel of the R8 Ultimate Monza Silence with the integral suppressor is evenly distributed over its entire length. This gives the rifle its excellent balance. The outer contour of the barrel and suppressor jacket is made of titanium and designed in a seamless bull-barrel style. The titanium muzzle brake directs part of the powder gases in an orderly manner and ensures a secure attachment of the suppressor to the muzzle thread, so the projectile can pass unhindered. The design of the Blaser integral suppressor provides its entire length as an expansion chamber for the powder gases. The inner tube closes off the expansion chamber inwardly, protecting the barrel from powder residues and deposits. Depending on the caliber, the barrel length is 42 or 47 cm.
