Frankford Arsenal Aluminum Powder Funnel Set 1136021

The Frankford Arsenal Aluminum Powder Funnel Set 1136021 supports clean filling of cases from caliber .17. The large aluminum funnel is combined with a matching, caliber-specific nozzle. O-rings securely hold the inserts in the funnel, while the smooth black chrome finish reduces powder adhesion caused by static charge.
Fits well – and when rather not
Fits well: for reloaders who want to cover multiple case neck diameters with an organized funnel system and already want to transfer pre-measured powder charges cleanly into the case. The eight labeled inserts reduce mix-ups, and a proper O-ring fit helps prevent sideways tipping and spilling.
Rather not fit: if you want to dose, weigh, or automatically fill powder – the set is exclusively the transfer path into the case. For special cases outside the confirmed application areas, significantly different neck geometries, or damaged cases, a fit test is required beforehand.
Black-Raptor practical interpretation
The real benefit lies in a reproducible process: select the insert based on the laser engraving, insert dry and residue-free, transfer the pre-measured charge completely, and check the funnel and nozzle before the next powder change. Especially with small case necks, a snug-fitting insert can reduce mess at the loading bench; however, it never replaces visual inspection, the scale, or verified load data.
Quick change between different cases
The set includes eight interchangeable aluminum nozzles. The laser engraving makes identification easier at the reloading bench; for a caliber change, only the insert needs to be swapped. This is especially practical when working with multiple case neck diameters and a universal funnel does not sit cleanly.

Compatibility and limits
Before filling, the nozzle must be chosen that fits stably and without jamming on the respective case neck. The specification "from .17" does not mean that every conceivable special case is covered without a fit test. The set is a funnel system for transferring already measured charges; it does not replace a powder scale, powder measure, or trickler.
Scope of delivery and safe use
Included are the aluminum powder funnel, eight nozzles with O-rings, and a matching storage box. Work only with suitable propellant powder and verified load data. Avoid ignition sources, open flames, and statically problematic working conditions. Check nozzle and funnel for clean, firm fit before each charge and do not unintentionally mix different powder types.
