Die Area 419 Tikka T3/T3x Improved Scope Rail is a precise 20-MOA Picatinny base for shooters who want to shift the usable elevation adjustment range of their scope towards distance reserve. It fits particularly well with hunting or sporting Tikka T3/T3x setups where a stable, cleanly machined base and long-term reproducible fit are more important than the lowest entry cost solution.
Fits well – and when rather not
Fits well: Tikka T3, T3x and CTR with matching receiver and scope whose adjustment range allows a secure zero point despite 20 MOA forward tilt.
Fits rather not: Tikka T1x, other system cases or pure short-distance setups where no additional elevation reserve is needed.
Check before purchase: firearm model, existing screw pattern, ring height, objective clearance and the available adjustment range of the scope.
Practical effect of the 20-MOA forward tilt
The rail aligns the scope slightly downward to the barrel axis. This typically leaves more internal elevation adjustment for longer distances. This neither replaces a correct ballistic solution nor clean mounting and zeroing. With optics with a tight total adjustment range, the desired short zeroing distance can be more difficult or no longer achievable.

Scope of delivery
One Area 419 Tikka T3/T3x Improved Scope Rail 20 MOA including T10 Torx mounting screws. Scope, rings and tools are not included.
Safe mounting
Firearm fully unloaded, remove magazine and check cartridge chamber. Clean contact surfaces and threads, mount the rail without tension and use only suitable, undamaged screws. Tighten screws evenly according to the specifications of the firearm and rail manufacturer; do not use a general torque value. After mounting, check free movement, bolt function, ring contact and zero point. Check screw tightness again after the first shooting series.
Black-Raptor classification
For a serious T3/T3x precision setup, the rail is a high-quality base: clean edges, 7075 material, recoil stop and 20-MOA reserve solve real mounting and elevation travel issues. The extra cost is worth it especially if the optic and use profile actually benefit from these features. Those who mostly shoot short distances or do not yet have a reliable mounting plan should first clarify zero point, ring height and glass adjustment – otherwise the distance reserve becomes unnecessary complexity.
