Black Raptor · System advice Rusan clamp adapter for scopes This family bundles five different scope sides. First, the system and actual outer diameter of the optic decide, then the device connection.
The short buying answer: Don’t choose by a similar name. Interface, dimension, and system side must clearly match.

Our honest assessment With modular adapters, the correct system logic is more important than the fastest purchase. A clean, repeatable connection only arises from confirmed components; a similar thread or a similar device is no proof of compatibility.

Fits well if …
Measure the actual outer diameter at the clamping point; objective size and model name are not enough..
the rest of the system setup is clear,
you check the mounting free of tension.

Rather doesn’t fit if …
a component is supposed to serve as a universal adapter,
dimensions or generations are estimated,
a stiff connection is forced to fit with force.

Select variants correctly
Modular SHORT, Modular Fixed, Q-R Universal SHORT, Modular with bayonet lock, and Q-R Universal from 2017 are not interchangeable names.
Practical consequence: The variant must match the device and connection exactly. Clarify any deviation before purchase, not only at mounting.

Trainer and user tip Write down or photograph the planned chain: scope side → clamping sleeve → connector/ring → attachment device. If a transition is not clearly labeled, the selection is not yet reliable.

Limits and safe use Do not use adapters as repair or improvisation solutions. Keep contact surfaces clean, align parts straight, and check locking, free movement, and secure fit of the complete setup after transport and before use.
Technical practical data 5 system variants; Q-R variants with M52 x 0.75 according to variant designation.
Frequently asked questions How do I find the right variant? By the exact device mount, thread specification, and confirmed system setup. Is a similar thread enough? No. Diameter and pitch must match exactly. Is this a complete adapter? Only if all intended components of the system chain are present. What do I do with unclear mounts? Device designation, Ge
