Purchase check
“Universal” means a very broad but not absolutely guaranteed compatibility. For unusual wildcat, rimmed, or large caliber cases, the case head or outer diameter should be checked before purchase. The loading tray is a holding and organizing aid; it does not measure powder charges and does not replace a scale or powder measure.
Practical use
A loading tray makes processing stages visible: cases can be lined up in rows, moved according to the work step, and checked again before bullet seating. This makes missed or double-processed positions easier to spot. Still, every powder charge must be checked according to the specifications of the loading manual used.
