LYMAN 7810322 Powder Handling Starter Set

LYMAN 7810322 – matched starter set for powder handling
The LYMAN Powder Handling Starter Set combines a compact digital scale, an adjustable powder trickler, and a universal loading block. This allows you to weigh powder charges precisely, fine-tune to the desired weight, and securely hold filled cases ready.

What the set delivers in workflow

Pocket Touch 1500 digital scale: up to 1,500 grain capacity, illuminated display, touch operation, foldable dust cover, and automatic shutoff.

Universal Funnel Pan: combines weighing pan, spout, and funnel; according to the manufacturer suitable for cases from caliber .20 to .50.

E-ZEE Flo Universal Powder Trickler: height adjustable and with tube extension to align dispensing with different scales.

Universal Loading Block: holds rifle and pistol cases from caliber .22 to .45 upright during filling and reduces the risk of tipping over.

Buying advice and important limits
The set is well suited for beginners and reloaders who want to control powder charges individually and then organize them in the loading block. It is also a compact addition to an existing press.
Not included is a volumetric powder measure or automatic powder dispenser. The trickler dispenses small powder amounts for fine adjustment; the digital scale does not replace a reloading press or dies. For larger batches, a separate powder measure or automatic dosing system can speed up the process.
The caliber ranges of the funnel pan and loading block differ: the funnel pan is specified for .20 to .50, the loading block for .22 to .45. Before use, the specific case must stand securely or fit cleanly on the funnel.

Work safely and reproducibly

Place the scale on a stable, level, and vibration-free surface; avoid drafts and strong temperature changes.
Turn on the scale according to the manufacturer’s instructions, zero it, and check with a suitable calibration weight before each loading series.
Keep only one clearly labeled powder type open at the workstation.
Put a rough charge into the funnel pan and slowly add with the trickler up to the target value.
Pour the weighed charge via the spout into the appropriate case and place it in the loading block.
Visually check all cases for even fill level before seating the bullet.
Safety limit: Never guess or exceed reloading data. Current, tested load data and the instructions of powder, component, and equipment manufacturers are decisive. Keep powder away from ignition sources; wear safety glasses.
