The Most Important Hand Tools for Clean Case Preparation
The FRANKFORD ARSENAL Platinum Series Case Prep Essentials Kit 909214 covers several typical steps after calibrating and trimming. Two handles and six interchangeable tools allow for deburring the inside and outside of the case mouth as well as working on small and large flash holes.
The inside chamfer tool lightly bevels the case mouth so bullets can be seated cleanly. The outside deburring tool removes the burr on the outside. For the flash holes, there is one tool each for uniforming/cleaning and one tool each for removing military crimps in Small and Large sizes.

Important Before Purchase
The set is designed for manual case preparation. It does not replace case trimmers, sizing dies, or primer pocket uniformers. Cases must be empty and spent primers removed before processing.
Small and Large refer to the size of the flash hole, not generally to the cartridge caliber. Choose the appropriate tool before use. The crimp removers are only intended for Boxer flash holes with existing crimps; they are not for deepening a normal flash hole. Always remove material sparingly and carefully.
Usage

Clean, size, and trim empty, fired cases as needed.
Deburr the inside and outside of the case mouth with a few even turns.
Check the size and condition of the flash hole.
Insert the appropriate Small or Large tool into a handle.
Carefully clean or uniform the flash hole; remove a crimp only on actually crimped cases.
Inspect processed areas before seating a new primer.

Do not tilt cutting tools or apply high pressure. Discard damaged cases; for unknown case or flash hole specifications, first check reliable load data or manufacturer information.
