HORNADY Primer Pocket Uniformer

Der HORNADY Primer Pocket Uniformer processes the bottom of the primer pocket to a uniform depth and a flat seating surface. This allows new primers to be seated more controlled and evenly – especially useful for carefully prepared cases for reproducible loadings.

The decisive factor is the size of the primer pocket of your case, not just the caliber. Check before ordering whether your cases use small or large primers.
Compatibility and application
Both tool heads have an 8-32 thread and are designed for the HORNADY Lock-N-Load Case Prep Trio or compatible mounts with this thread. The empty, fired case is processed only with light, controlled pressure. Material should only be removed until the pocket bottom is even.
Important before purchase
The Uniformer is not a decapper, not a primer pocket cleaner, and not a tool for removing military primer crimps. For crimped primer pockets, a suitable reamer or swager is required. Likewise, the tool does not replace a flash hole deburring tool. Only the selected Uniformer tool head is delivered; drive, Case Prep Trio, and other accessories are not included.
