L.E. Wilson UBT-45
After trimming, create a reproducible 45° internal chamfer
Trimmer-guided deburring tool with crank handle for the L.E.-Wilson system.
45° internal deburring

Black-Raptor classification The UBT-45 replaces the cutter in the L.E.-Wilson Case Trimmer and only processes the inner case mouth edge. The matching Case Holder guides the case; trimmer and case holder must already be available.

Does this fit your project?

Fits well if …
you use an L.E.-Wilson Case Trimmer with the matching Case Holder
you want to reproducibly create a classic 45° internal chamfer
you want to use the included crank handle or optionally the matching WSA drive

Fits less well if …
you want to deburr inside and outside in one step
you expect a free universal hand tool or the complete trimmer
you are specifically looking for the separate 30° VLD version

What the product practically offers you

System-guided alignment Case Holder and trimmer guide the case perpendicular to the tool.

45° chamfer This version creates the classic 45° internal chamfer; UBT-30 is the different 30° solution.

Removable crank handle Manual operation is possible directly; motorized drive requires the separate Sinclair WSA adapter.

Limits, disadvantages and avoiding a bad purchase
The tool does not trim case length and does not process the outer edge. Caliber coverage depends on the separately required Case Holder. For 30° VLD work, UBT-45 is wrong. Brownells does not recommend it for factory-new cases.

Application and safety
First trim the case to the desired length. Secure the UBT-45 in the cutter housing and use the matching Case Holder. Work with little feed and steady movement; the goal is a clean edge, not maximum material removal. For motorized drive, choose low speed, wear safety glasses and keep hands away from the cutting area.
Scope of delivery
1 × L.E. Wilson UBT-45 Uniform Burring Tool and 1 × detachable crank handle. Trimmer, Case Holder, outside deburrer, WSA adapter, drive and cases are not included.
Frequently asked questions
Does the UBT-45 deburr inside and outside? No. It only processes the inner case mouth edge. Is the Case Holder included? No. The L.E.-Wilson holder matching the case is required separately. Can I use it without a Wilson Trimmer? Not as intended. It is designed for the cutter housing of this system. What is the difference between UBT-45 and UBT-30? UBT-45 creates 45°, UBT-30 the separate 30° bevel. Can a cordless drill be used? With the separately available Sinclair WSA adapter and controlled low speed.
Clear purchase decision
Suitable for owners of the Wilson Trimmer who want guided 45° inside deburring. Without trimmer and Case Holder or for outside/30° processing, a different tool is required.
