What counts in use


Free-standing design No fixed bolting makes transport and flexible placement easier. The base must still be level, non-slip, and stable.


Direct lever travel Resistance changes are clearly felt. This supports controlled work but does not replace measurable force documentation.


Adjustable height The ratcheting height adjustment adapts the press head to the die and working stroke. Incorrect die selection cannot be compensated this way.

Assembly, use and maintenance

Place the press on a clean, dry, flat, and non-slip surface.
Insert the approved hand die and adjust the press head to the required stroke without high load.
Align case and bullet cleanly; initially check the working stroke empty or with low load.
Press evenly and stop immediately if unusual resistance occurs; check die, case, and adjustment.
Remove residues, maintain rack and guide according to manufacturer instructions, and store dry.

Can I use normal 7/8-14 dies? No. The AP1000 is designed for matching hand/arbor dies, not classic screw dies. Can it fully resize cases? No, full-length resize dies are explicitly excluded.
