This low NETD value makes even the finest heat differences visible, so a warm animal stands out from the background even when contrast is low. The thermal image then appears sharp and high-contrast on the AMOLED display. The device detects heat sources at distances up to 2300 m. The integrated laser rangefinder measures the distance to the targeted object and displays it directly in the image. A low base magnification provides a wide field of view for broad scanning, and digital zoom brings interesting areas closer. You can capture observations as photos or videos and save them in the internal memory. The rechargeable Li-Ion battery lasts for about eight hours of continuous operation.
