When looking through the window, a red dot appears in the line of sight, allowing targets to be quickly acquired with both eyes open shooting. The integrated Acro interface allows the sight to be mounted on various weapon platforms, from pistols to rifles and shotguns, as well as for use as a secondary sight on a magnifying scope. The 3.5 MOA red dot can be adjusted in ten brightness levels to suit the light. Eight of these are designed for different daylight conditions, from overcast weather to bright sun, and two more can be used with night vision devices. Since the sight is parallax-free, the dot stays on the target regardless of how the eye is positioned behind the window, eliminating the need to center the gaze. The LED and electronics are protected inside a sealed housing, ensuring the red dot remains reliably visible in any weather. The optic is waterproof up to five meters depth. With a single CR2032 battery, the Acro C-2 achieves around 50,000 operating hours at daylight level 6, which corresponds to continuous operation of over five years. This allows it to remain switched on permanently without frequent battery changes. Despite this durability, the housing remains compact and lightweight. The optical axis is low, so the line of sight runs close above the weapon. The delivery includes the sight, a battery, and the appropriate Aimpoint tool, so it can be mounted immediately.
