The key buying point: 6 MIL and 30 mm must fit simultaneously – for rail tilt, elevation adjustment range, cheek weld, and objective clearance.

Our honest assessment

The SP-4601C combines two features that both must be deliberately chosen: a low 30 mm axis and 6 MIL / about 20.6 MOA additional tilt. This is interesting for long-range systems but not an automatic upgrade.
If the weapon rail is already strongly tilted or the scope has little elevation adjustment range, a more neutral or less tilted mount may be technically better suited.



Fits well if … … your scope has a 34 mm main tube.
… a low 30 mm line fits the stock.
… 6 MIL additional tilt is needed for the planned distance range.

Limits, disadvantages and avoiding bad purchases

Add angles: rail inclination plus 6 MIL equals the total inclination of the system.
Check close zero point: the optic must retain enough real counter-adjustment range.
Check low line: 30 mm can be too little clearance with a large objective or continuous rail.

Document total inclination from weapon rail plus mount before installation. Position optic stress-free in the ring zones, adhere to manufacturer-approved torques and check free movement of objective, cap and controls after assembly.
FAQ
Does 6 MIL increase the elevation adjustment range? No. The mount only shifts the working position within the existing mechanical range. What happens on an already inclined rail? The angles add up. Therefore, the real counter-adjustment range for the desired zero point must be checked before purchase. Why is 30 mm not always better? A low line often improves cheek weld but can leave too little clearance with a large objective or continuous rail. Is the SP-4601C QD? No. It is a fixed screw mount without quick release lever.

The SP-4601C is a precise special solution, not a universal model. It fits when 34 mm, 30 mm and 6 MIL demonstrably belong together in the system.
