WXT0107F1: Sight and optic base as a matched system
The WXT series combines an adjustable rear sight for height and windage with an integrated optic base. This version includes 07 Target rear sight, black, and Fiber Optic front sight MP35F (MP35F) together.
Key point: This is not a universal S&W sight. Frame preparation, replacement height, and the exact LPA code must match the firearm. A red dot is not included.

What practically distinguishes this variant


Rear sight
e: 07 Target rear sight, black The 07 rear sight is designed as a black target sight blade. In this F1 variant, however, it is combined with an MP35F fiber front sight – so the complete set version is not correctly described as "black sight picture only."


Front sight: MP35F fiber-optic front sight MP35F. The front sight code is part of the variant identity and must not be confused with a visually similar WXT version.


Silver base with optic interface The WXT base is designed for an additional compatible optic. The mechanical sighting remains the basic setup; optic and any required optic mounting are separate.


Micrometer adjustment Height and windage can be adjusted on the rear sight. This corrects the point of impact within the intended adjustment range but does not replace proper mounting or suitable front sight height.


Compatibility without shortcuts

LPA offers the WXT platform for S&W 629, 686, 586, 627, 66, 67, 696, 17, 19, 657, 610, 625, 29, 27 as well as suitable newer .50 caliber versions. Additionally, the manufacturer specifies a replacement height of the existing rear sight of about 10–10.5 mm and a frame prepared or drilled/tapped for the S&W optic mount.
Important: The model list alone is no free pass. Year of manufacture, Performance Center/special edition, already modified sights, and subsequent modifications can change the counterpart. When in doubt, compare the existing setup with the exact code WXT0107F1.

Limits, disadvantages, and avoiding bad purchases

Do not confuse: WXT codes distinguish not only finish but also sight blade and supplied front sight. WXT0107F1 = 07 rear sight + Silver base + MP35F front sight. The earlier "without separate front sight / black sight picture" was not applicable for this SKU.
The integrated optic base increases functionality but also the number of interfaces: frame, sight base, mechanical sight, and optional optic must fit together. Those looking for a slim replacement rear sight without optic base are better served with another LPA series.
Fiber elements improve visual reference in available ambient light but are not self-illuminating. Black target elements provide a clear outline but require sufficient aiming contrast.

Is a front sight included with WXT0107F1? Yes. This specific set version includes the fiber-optic front sight MP35F with the LPA designation MP35F. This exact point distinguishes it from WXT variants without F1/F2 front sight.
Is a red dot included? No. The WXT series provides the corresponding base/interface; a sight is not included in the delivery.
Does the sight fit every S&W revolver of the mentioned model series? Not universally. LPA names the model families but also requires the appropriate frame preparation and the intended replacement height. Special models or already modified firearms must be checked separately.
What is the difference between F1 and F2? In these WXT sets, F1 and F2 designate different front sight components. For WXT0107F1, MP35F is the confirmed assignment; another front sight must not simply be swapped in.
