LPA TPU · Browning HP Sport · black sight picture
TPU60BS07: adjustable rear sight for a clear, reduced sight picture The TPU60BS07 is a micrometrically adjustable replacement rear sight for the confirmed Browning HP Sport mount. The black version deliberately omits dots or fiber and is aimed at shooters who prefer clear contours and the calmest possible mechanical sight picture.
Important: The rear sight is delivered without front sight. The existing or separately chosen front sight must fit geometrically and in height to the rear sight.

Our honest assessment

This variant shows its strength with good contrast and a clean sight picture. It distracts less than dot or fiber solutions and is therefore well suited for users who consciously work classically with rear and front sight.
The downside is also clear: In dark target backgrounds or low light, the black sight provides no additional optical highlight. Those who want exactly this support are better served with a marked variant.

Fits well / Fits less well

Fits well if … … your Browning HP Sport has the confirmed rear sight mount, you want to continue using the existing front sight solution, and prefer a reduced black sight picture.

Fits less well if … … you expect a complete rear/front sight set, have a different HP variant without confirmed mount, or consciously want dots, fiber, or Luminova in low light.

Features with practical effect

Micrometer adjustment Height and windage can be corrected in a controlled manner. This only works properly after a clean basic installation and with a matching front sight height.

Black
Sight Blade No luminous or dot markings: This reduces visual distraction and emphasizes the contours of the rear sight cutout and front sight.

Rear Sight without Front Sight The existing or separately procured front sight height remains critical for purchase. An incorrect height can use up the usable adjustment range.

Code TPU60BS07 This manufacturer code is the relevant assignment for design and fit; the numerical shop SKU is separate from this.

Limits, Disadvantages and Avoiding Wrong Purchases

Do not order based on model family alone. The specific sight mount must match the LPA assignment; similarly looking dovetails are not automatically dimensionally identical.
This SKU does not include a front sight. Anyone wanting a complete set or who cannot confidently classify their current front sight height should clarify the desired system combination before ordering.

Safe Installation and Inspection

Install only on a fully unloaded firearm and according to LPA/firearm manufacturer instructions. Check mount and installation direction before pressing in; do not force material by hammering or grinding by eye. Have it professionally installed if the fit is tight or unclear.
After installation, check for firm fit and free slide movement. Adjust screws only within the intended range and do not override mechanical stops with extra force.

FAQ
Is a front sight included? No. TPU60BS07 is listed as a rear sight without front sight. Does the rear sight fit every Browning HP? No. Confirmed is the Browning HP Sport with the matching sight mount; other variants must be checked separately. Why a black sight instead of dots? The black sight picture is deliberately reduced and offers a calm contour with good contrast. In low light, it does not provide additional highlighting. Can the adjustment compensate for an incorrect front sight height? Only within the intended adjustment range. A significantly incorrect front sight height or wrong mount cannot be sensibly compensated.

Black Raptor · reduced instead of overloaded
TPU60BS07 fits if the mount and front sight height match and you consciously want a black, calm sight picture. Those looking for luminous dots or a complete set should choose a different variant.
