Fits well if … you want to use a Blaser R8 Professional specifically as a modular long-range/support setup with folding mechanism, M-LOK, and adjustable ergonomics.


Fits less well if … you use another weapon platform, handedness is not clearly defined, or you are looking for a light classic hunting stock instead of an approx. 2-kg chassis.


Features with practical benefits


Folding mechanism Reduces transport size and eases access and handling. Before use, the joint must be clean and fully locked.


SpeedLock II LOP from 37.5–40.5 cm plus adjustable butt plate and cheek rest allow a very precise ergonomic setup.


M-LOK + Picatinny Front accessories can be positioned modularly. Each additional component changes balance, width, and access.

R8 LH and R8 Professional are not cosmetic variants. Handedness, system/magazine area, and operation path must fit the firearm exactly.
The Ragnarok adopts the matching R8 system chain. Accessories on M-LOK/Picatinny must not affect barrel, operation, or locking.

At approx. 2.04 kg, the Ragnarok is clearly designed for stability and modularity rather than low hunting weight. Those who don’t need folding function or chassis front carry unnecessary mass. It is not a “similar” alternative for other platforms.

Safe mounting & inspection
Only work on a fully unloaded firearm. After mounting, check R8 system, magazine, bolt/action and all controls for free movement. The folding joint must be clean, play-free and fully locked. Accessory screws must not protrude into barrel or system area. Then confirm zero point again.
