Black Raptor Quick Check
Shooters Global SG Smart Shot Timer 2 with U-Grip
Bluetooth shot timer for structured drill training and reproducible time measurement. The available product data confirm the Timer-2 platform, Bluetooth, and the black version; unspecified range or battery numbers are deliberately not added.

Fits well if
Start reaction, splits, and transitions are to be evaluated separately
Bluetooth/app connection fits the training workflow
a larger, easy-to-grip timer with U-Grip is desired

Fits less if
only manual stopwatch times are needed
a very small clip timer is the priority
actually digital leveling or DOPE is sought

Purchase decision points

Shot timer function The device is designed for start signal, shot detection, and split times – making a drill measurable instead of just subjectively fast.

Bluetooth The Shopify version is explicitly named as a Bluetooth timer. This is the relevant difference to purely stand-alone timer concepts.

U-Grip The product name includes the U-Grip as part of the offered version. It is therefore part of the purchase decision on this page.

Training logic The added value only arises with consistent drill conditions and hit requirements – not just by achieving the smallest times.

Limits & avoiding bad purchases

The old page only generally stated “shines in this area” regarding battery life, without reliable numbers. Therefore, no concrete runtime is invented.
Bluetooth is a feature, but no guarantee that every desired third-party workflow is supported. The decisive factor is the actually used Shooters-Global app/device chain.

Practical interpretation

Keep timer position constant: Microphone and signal transmitter should be worn or positioned as consistently as possible between comparison series.

Document drills completely: Distance, target size, start position, and Tr
record shot requirement together with time and splits. Otherwise, training results are only comparable to a limited extent.
Technical data with practical relevance

Product type
Shot Timer / training electronics.

Design
Black / Bluetooth timer.

Operation / carrying concept
U-Grip according to product designation.

Function
Start signal, shot detection, time and split evaluation.

Battery
No reliable concrete runtime stored in the current Shopify data set.

Scope of delivery
Included is the black Bluetooth timer version with U-Grip offered on Shopify. Smartphone, protective gear, and other training accessories are not automatically part of the scope of delivery.
Comparison
The SG Timer Go is the more compact comparison option with quick release/pocket clip. For classic timing without the same app focus, the PACT Club Timer III is a sensible alternative.
FAQ
Is the SG Timer 2 Bluetooth-capable? Yes. The current Shopify version is explicitly listed as "Black / Bluetooth Timer". Is the U-Grip included? The product name explicitly states the offered version "with U-Grip". How long does the battery last? No reliable concrete runtime is stored in the current product data set; therefore, no number is invented here. Is this a level system? No. It is a shot timer. For digital leveling, SG Pulse or SG Pulse Pro are the appropriate product classes.
Black-Raptor classification: The Timer 2 is suitable for users looking for a Bluetooth-capable shot timer with U-Grip and structured drill workflow. Those who want to carry as compactly as possible should also check the Timer Go.
