Reptilia ROF-90 – Integrate Offset Red Dot cleanly into existing Geissele/AUS mount
The ROF-90 replaces the upper ring half on compatible 30 mm mounts and creates a 90° mounting point for compact optics in the Aimpoint-Micro-Footprint. This is a targeted system extension – not a universal 30 mm ring and not a standalone scope mount.


Fits well / fits rather not


Fits well If you already have a Reptilia AUS or Geissele Super Precision mount with 30 mm rings and want to add a compatible Micro Red Dot as a space-saving secondary optic.

Fits rather not If you are looking for a normal 30 mm ring, a Picatinny base, or a universal offset mount. Without the appropriate base mount, the ROF-90 is not useful.



What the design brings in practice


90° position The Micro sits to the side of the main optic. Switching is done by a defined weapon/head rotation instead of adjusting the main optic.

Fewer additional interfaces The adapter uses the existing upper ring area of the compatible mount; a separate rail clamp for the red dot is not needed.

Aimpoint-Micro family Designed for the Aimpoint-Micro-Footprint, including T-1/T-2, H-1/H-2, R-1, and CompM5 as well as several identical compatible optics.

30 mm system binding The 30 mm specification refers to the compatible base mount. It does not mean that the ROF-90 can be clamped to any 30 mm scope arbitrarily.



Compatibility before purchase
First check the existing scope mount: a compatible Reptilia AUS 30 mm is required
or Geissele Super Precision 30 mm. Then check the footprint of the secondary optic. Confirmed are, among others, Aimpoint Micro R-1/H-1/H-2/T-1/T-2/CompM5 as well as several models from SIG Sauer, Vortex, Primary Arms, and Holosun with the corresponding Micro footprint.

Limits & Avoiding Bad Buys

Important: ROF-90 and ROF-SAR are different solutions. The ROF-90 is tied to specific 30 mm base mounts; the ROF-SAR clamps directly around a 30 mm scope tube. If you only match “30 mm,” you can buy the wrong variant despite the identical tube diameter. Also, a side secondary optic changes the cheek weld and weapon width – check clearance to turret, levers, and accessories before final tightening.

Variant Choice

Version 1: FDE. Version 2: Black. The colour version does not change the basic 30 mm/Micro compatibility. The key is the matching base mount.

Keep contact surfaces clean and free of grease, tighten screws evenly, and observe the torque specifications of the involved manufacturers. Check clearance before use and verify point of impact after any change to an optic-relevant mount.

FAQ
Is the ROF-90 a normal 30 mm scope ring? No. It is an upgrade for certain Reptilia AUS or Geissele Super Precision 30 mm mounts and adds a Micro red dot mounting point there.
Does an Aimpoint T-2 fit? Yes, the T-2 belongs to the confirmed Aimpoint Micro family. Still, the base mount must also fit.
What is the difference to the ROF-SAR? The ROF-90 uses a compatible base mount. The ROF-SAR is designed as a 30 mm clamp ring for the scope tube.
Which colour should I choose? Technically, FDE and Black are equivalent; the choice is a matter of setup and desired finish.

Black-Raptor Classification: Useful if you are already in the matching Reptilia/Geissele 30 mm system and want to integrate a compact Micro secondary optic. Don’t buy if only the tube diameter is known – with the ROF-90, the specific base mount decides.
