Black Raptor Buying Guide
Reptilia Aimpoint Micro DOT Mount 1.93″
High Picatinny direct mount for compatible Aimpoint Micro footprints. The 1.93″ height is deliberately ergonomic and not automatically better than Lower 1/3.

Fits well / fits rather not

Fits well
for Aimpoint Micro T1/T2/H1/H2/CompM5 and other registered Micro-compatible optics
for Picatinny setups with deliberately high sight line
when a more upright head position is more important than a low optic position

Fits rather not
for ACRO-, RMR-/SRO- or other footprints
if Lower 1/3 or absolute co-witness is desired
if the high line collides with stock or accessories

What does this bring in practice?

1.93″ optic line Can support a more upright head position and create more clearance with bulky gear.

Direct Micro footprint No additional adapter between compatible optic and mount.

Slim design The available data describe the DOT Mount as a light, compact solution for several Micro-compatible red dot sights.

Color options Black or FDE; functionally identical.

Limits, disadvantages & avoiding bad purchases

1.93″ significantly changes the cheek weld. Check before ordering if stock geometry, cheek rest, and use fit the high line. Also, don’t buy just by brand name: Aimpoint ACRO uses a different footprint than Aimpoint Micro.

Technical data with practical interpretation

Height 1.93″
High sight line; choose deliberately based on ergonomics.

Footprint Aimpoint Micro-compatible
Use only with confirmed compatible optics.

Base Picatinny
Check rail geometry before ordering.

Finish FDE or Black
Pure variant choice without functional change.

Compatibility & variant selection
Registered are, among others, Aimpoint Micro R-1, H-1, H-2, T-1, T-2, CompM5
as well as several Sig Sauer, Holosun, Vortex, and Primary Arms models. The decisive factor remains the specific footprint of your own sight.
Scope of delivery
Included is the selected Reptilia DOT Mount. Red dot sight, Picatinny base, and other accessories are not automatically included.
Safe use
Position the mount on a clean rail, tighten the fasteners according to the manufacturer's instructions, and then check for secure fit and free operability.
FAQ
Is 1.93″ higher than Lower 1/3? Yes. The optic line is significantly higher and changes head position and cheek weld.
Does an Aimpoint ACRO fit? No, ACRO and Micro have different interfaces.
Which color is technically better? None. Black and FDE do not differ functionally.
Black-Raptor classification: Strong for a deliberately high-mounted micro-dot setup. Don’t buy based on the mount’s appearance, but first confirm the footprint and desired 1.93″ ergonomics.
